Admissions Insights
A Forum on the Future of the Admissions, Financial Aid and School Counseling Professions
In Preserving the Dream of America, the Task Force on Admissions in the 21st Century offered a Declaration of Values to help define the work of admissions and enrollment officers and school counselors in the rapidly changing education landscape. Now we’re bringing the discussion to you, the professionals who engage in this work day to day.
The “Admissions Insights” series features insights and opinions from leaders in the field on critical topics in admissions, enrollment, financial aid and school counseling. Each posting represents a seasoned professional’s point of view. We’ll also provide links to additional information and helpful resources.
The Series
Bruce Walker, Vice Provost of Special Projects, University of Texas at Austin, kicked off the series with an update about the task force’s ongoing work and a special message to younger members of the profession. He was followed by Bob Lay’s piece on Demographics, and Randy Deike’s piece on Testing and Assessment.
